During the winter skiers from all over the world come to the neighboring county Telemark to visit the birthplace of skiing and to enjoy the world's best cross country skiing areas.
We offer the best weather in Norway, with fresh air and clean water conditions. Summer temperatures are in the 20-30 degrees centigrade (correspondingly 70's and 80's farenheight), and mild winter conditions along the coast with temperatures in the 0 to minus 10 degrees centigrade (correspondingly 30 - 40 degrees farenheight).
